Neighborhood cleanup

A couple of weeks ago, our neighborhood association sent out a request for volunteers to help clean up the park after the 4th of July. The hope was to get four hundred people to help for three hours on Wednesday the 5th.

They didn't get 400 people. The final count was seven hundred and forty eight. Which reminds me, once again, why I love this neighborhood.

No, but there were a few areas that needed used fireworks picked up, and there was quite a bit of work to be done weeding and spreading mulch under the trees.
