I like your web site. Especially when I saw Kim Cameron's name on it, my family became excited because we know him from Ann Arbor, MI. Is this Kim Cameron who is the President Cameron in Michigan/Ohio area?

On the other hand, I am less favorable of seeing Obama'08 button which is juxtaposed to the official church sites and Moor Good Foundation sites. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not Anti-Obama at all. Point is that if web like yours put a particular candidate’s name on the front page, most likely you will loose all other good readers/blogers who have other favorite candidates. It will automatically loose your opportunity to spread your views and chance to introduce good sites mentioned the above. You can, or all of us, can freely expresses our preference in form of blogging. If you want welcome all kind of visitors, and then you need to show them that it is place all of us are welcomed. Can you replace the button with Donkey and Elephant? Or American flag?

Moreover, the Church emphasize that the church does not affiliate or endorse any particular political party. It is true that we are encouraged to stand for views harmonizing with the Church beliefs. If you put Sen. Obama on the web like this, which has other good church webs like monsoon.com and Hinckley.com, etc., people might get wrong idea that the Church officially supports Sen. Obama.

Please avoid such confusion. Please invite all visitors to your web site so they can freely exchange their views as well. You want this web to be read by many people as possible don’t you? It will taint other good web sites in the long run. Or you are a die hard Obama supporter you don’t care other church members and church friends. What do you think?

I don't intend for there to be any misunderstanding. My usual topics here are politics and technology; I just happened to have a couple of posts referencing the Church sites and the More Good Foundation sites because of the recent passing of President Hinckley.

I am fully aware that the Church does not support or endorse any political candidate, nor do they oppose any. That is true in every country where the Church is established, and it has proven many times over to be a wise policy. I am not an official Church spokesperson, and I do not in any way imply any official Church support for Senator Obama's candidacy.

With that said, I personally do support Senator Obama's candidacy for the Presidency of the United States, and it is for that reason that his button appears on this site.

In regards to Kim Cameron, the one linked here is the Kim Cameron of Microsoft Research, one of the major experts in the field of digital identity.
